ZAVIER FRANCIS
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Zavier founded Solomon Peter Investments in London 2018 to champion for clean energy projects across frontier and emerging markets by providing access to financing, advisory, commercial and technical expertise. To date, Zavier has leveraged her over a decade of experience, covering LNG marketing, contract negotiation, fundamentals analysis and commercial feasibility, as well as her international network in the oil and gas sector to assist and develop clean energy (Hydrogen, Renewables) and gas/LNG related projects. Typical clients included government entities, National Oil Companies (NOCs), independent energy trading companies, utility companies, brokerage firms and independent project developers. Zavier has undertaken commercial and marketing roles within major LNG producer and trading companies such as Gazprom Marketing and Trading and Centrica. At Gazprom Marketing and Trading, Zavier was based in London and Singapore and was responsible for the optimisation and expansion of the company’s LNG portfolio via market analysis, project evaluation and origination. Further at Centrica, Zavier was responsible for fundamental market analytics of the European gas market and proposing and implementing hedging and optimization strategies. Zavier is also a regular speaker at notable energy industry conferences, such as The LNG Congress and Africa Oil Week.
MATTHEW NORMAN
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Matthew Norman has almost 30 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry, specialising in technical operations and commercial negotiations. Matthew has dealt with a wide range of technical situations, working in various countries across the globe. Not only has Matthew supported upstream oilfield operations and pipeline developments he has also led business development initiatives in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Matthew has worked for over 10 years in a business development capacity, working for Petrofac, Worley Parsons and Amec Foster Wheeler, focussed on field development projects, deploying engineering teams and managing large project developments budgets. Prior to this, Matt worked for Saipem for 2 years as Joint Venture Manager, managing stakeholders and the multi-billion-dollar joint venture projects, and at Geoservices for 14 years, managing O&M projects and supervising well testing and sampling operations.
LEAH OJOMO
ENGINEERING MANAGER
Leah has over a decade of experience in engineering, in the oil and gas industry, working for large scale engineering such as AMEC Foster Wheeler, focused on quality and x. While at AMEC Foster Wheeler, Leah led and managed equipment and quality assurance for Shell’s FLNG project in Australia. Further, Leah led quality control management for BP and implemented Completion execution plans at Bitumen projects in the UK. Subsequent to this, Leah worked for TEAM an engineering consultancy firm in Nigeria. While at TEAM, Leah worked on the design and implementation of critical railway infrastructure, in Nigeria to improve connectivity across the country.
