Helios Investment Partners (“HIP”) are a private equity company that is focussed on investments in Africa. They are the largest emerging markets-focused Private Equity firm globally to receive B-Corp certification in recognition of the firm’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. HIP works closely with technical company GasFin Developments SA (“GasFin”) on LNG related projects. HIP and GasFin worked together to develop the floating LNG import terminal in Tema in Ghana. Despite the congested port at Tema, HIP and Gasfin were able to develop the terminal successfully and safely and provide supply diversification for Ghana. HIP will lead the financing of the FSRU.

Sofregaz was created in 1959 by Gaz de France and has completed about 1,000 projects to date in 90 different countries. Part of the Sofren Group and the corporate equity fund Valquest Partners, Sofregaz core team is located in the Paris Headquarters.

BWSC

BWSC is a global turnkey developer, contractor and operator of tailored medium to large-scale power plants. BWSC deals in projects for conventional engine-based power plants, floating power plants, as well as for selected renewable and hybrid technologies. BWSC takes a leading role in the development of Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. Our product range also includes transmission lines, distribution systems and generation services. Within the last three decades, BWSC has supplied more than 180 power plants to 53 countries with a total generating capacity in excess of 3,500 MW. Furthermore, BWSC has entered into long-term Technical Support Agreements (TSA) as well as operation and maintenance agreements covering a total accumulated plant capacity in excess of 1,900 MW. BWSC originated from the stationary engine division of Burmeister & Wain (B&W), which has built and installed diesel engines for power plants since 1904. BWSC was established as a separate specialist company in 1980 and was acquired by Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. (MES) in 1990. In February 2017, two of the original B&W companies were re-united under one roof when BWSC acquired the assets of Burmeister & Wain Energy (BWE) needed to supply and service complete boiler solutions. BWSC is therefore now also a boiler supplier, offering a wide range of biomass boilers for a variety of bio fuels.
